Correlation and regression
Correlation and regression analysis for your thesis
Correlation shows whether two measures are related; regression shows how strongly one affects the other once other factors are taken into account. We help choose the method, build the model and report the results without the usual mistakes.
What is included
- Pearson and Spearman correlation, interpreting the coefficient
- correlation matrices and scatter plots
- linear and multiple regression
- model assessment: R², significance of coefficients, residual analysis, multicollinearity
- calibration curves and method comparison for experimental data
- a written description and interpretation of the results
Reading a correlation coefficient
A correlation coefficient runs from −1 to 1. The sign shows the direction: a positive correlation means both measures rise together, a negative one means one rises as the other falls. The absolute value shows the strength: close to 0 there is practically no relationship, close to 1 it is strong. Thresholds for weak and strong correlation differ between fields, so state which classification you use.
Correlation does not prove causation. To test the effect of several factors at once you need regression.

How it works
- Send us your data file, hypotheses or research questions, your topic and your university guidelines — via WhatsApp, Telegram or the request form.
- We review the material and reply within one working day with a fixed price and a deadline.
- Once agreed, a 20% prepayment to the company account.
- You receive tables, charts and a written description of the results, plus the R script on request. You pay the rest on delivery.
- If your supervisor asks for clarifications, we make them free of charge within the agreed scope.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
From €250. The price depends on the size of the data, the number of hypotheses and the methods. We give an exact quote within one working day after seeing the data.
When should I use Spearman instead of Pearson?
Use Spearman when the data is ranked or on a Likert scale, not normally distributed or has outliers; use Pearson when both measures are numeric and the relationship is roughly linear.
What is R²?
The coefficient of determination: the share of the variation in the dependent variable explained by the model. For example, R² = 0.45 means the model explains 45% of the variation.
Can you work with an SPSS file?
Yes, we read SPSS (.sav), Excel and CSV files. The analysis is done in R. If your supervisor needs SPSS output specifically, tell us in advance.
Which language will the results be in?
Tables, charts and the description of results can be in English, Latvian or Russian.
