Essay

Essay: help with argument, structure and citation

An essay is judged on the line of thought, not the word count: is there a thesis, do the arguments actually support it, does the conclusion follow. That is what we put in order.

What is included

• a clearly stated thesis in the opening paragraph
• arguments supported by examples and sources
• a counter-argument where the topic calls for one
• correct citation in the required style
• a conclusion that does not restate the introduction
